Paul Grigg started Outdoor Tasmania in 2005 having worked full-time teaching outdoor education for many years. Originally from the UK, Paul first came to Tasmania in 1969 on an extended working holiday. Having been an avid walker and hiker in the UK Paul soon fell in love with Tasmania and all it had to offer.
In 1970 Paul walked the Overland Track the first of many times over the next 40 years. However, it was not only the more remote bush that challenged his adventurous spirit but the huge diversity of the Tasmanian landscape that inspired Paul to want to share and showcase Tasmania to the rest of the world. From the craggy mountain peaks of the highlands, with a myriad of sparkling lakes & tarns, the lush green rainforests, dramatic mountains and wild wilderness of the west coast, the rolling hills & grassy sun-drenched plains of the midlands, to the pristine white sand beaches and pink granite seascape of the east coast. Nowhere else in Australia is there so much diversity in such a relatively small area.
Don’t just think about it, contact Paul now and let him put together your holiday experience of a lifetime.
